Ryan Burton was born and raised in Winnipeg MB Canada and started playing guitar at age 11. Ryan played bass in a hip Montreal Canada based band I.C. RED and honed his chops in studio with people like Frank Marino (from Mahogany Rush) as well as thousands of hours spent recording with his I.C. RED bandmate (former Aquarius/EMI Artist) VANN – Robert van Blokland. Ryan has shared stages with the likes of Glass Tiger, Honeymoon Suite, Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Sass Jordan, Amanda Marshall, The Tea Party, The Doughboys, Sue Medley, Wild T & The Spirit, Too Many Cooks, World on Edge, & more.
In 1994 Ryan went on air in radio for and stayed there until 1998 learning another side of the music business. Ryan moved to the business side of radio (off air) soon after, which moved him to the US in 2003. After much success in sales and management (with companies like Cumulus Media & AT&T) Ryan founded Ryan Burton Marketing in 2012. After success as an entrepreneur Ryan decided to take all his his collective skills back to the music business.
